Would Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) take exception to this
adaptation of his Prelude in D Major?
Hard to say. According to historical notes included in Frances
Clark's Library for Piano Students-Book 2,
Bach was 24 when the pianoforte ("piano") was invented.
The lion's share of his keyboard compositions were written for
organ,
harpsichord and clavichord, then later adapted for the piano.
This short arrangement is a bit of a throwback, a la Mark Post or Bob James.
